Held on the third Sunday of each month from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm at Gymea Tradies Club in The Sutherland Shire, the Designer Fashion markets feature designs from local up and coming designers who have not yet been discovered.

Presented by The St George and Sutherland Shire Business Enterprise Centre, the markets aim to provide an outlet for the growing number of talented young designers wanting to exhibit and sell their stylish and unique creations. For the buying public, it presents an opportunity to be ahead of the fashion pack and to purchase pieces directly from a mix of local labels selling shoes, bags, accessories and clothing.

The result is a fun and casual market style shopping experience. Each month a variety of new designers will have their goods on show as well as those that have become regulars and developed a dedicated following. You never know who or what you'll discover.

Offerings are fresh and eclectic with many stallholders specialising in funky designs for children as well, so shoppers are more than welcome to bring their kids along. There is plenty of room for prams.

Tradies is air conditioned and offers ample parking. Coffee and meals are available for purchase. Pop by for a quick look or make a full day of it in the Shire.

Designers interested in exhibiting at the markets should download an expression of interest form fro www.becsmallbiz.com.au/business/designer-markets.html
