Design College Australia, one of Brisbane's premier creative design schools, is hosting an 'Open Day' event on Saturday, 20th of June 2015. This event, which will run from 10am to 4pm at the Fortitude Valley campus, is designed for creative students and professionals who are looking to develop their specialist knowledge and creative skills.

During the 'Open Day' event, the renowned graphic design and photography college will open its doors to prospective students, offering guided tours of its studio spaces, a unique preview of the 2015/16 graphic design, photography and multimedia career courses, as well as a special opportunity to meet Design College Australia's esteemed lecturers, who will be most happy to answer any queries.

Plus past and current students will also be on hand, showcasing both print and digital portfolios and sharing their personal experiences of Design College Australia and pursuing a creative career.

2015 Open Day event highlights

  • Folio Reviews: Bring along your ideas and get first­hand advice from Troy Matheson, Head of Design on how to improve and move forward with your work.

  • Student Talk:­ Past and current students will talk about their experience at Design College Australia.

  • Photography Demonstration:­ See how a photo shoot comes to life.

  • Screen Printing Stations: Design and print a t-shirt!

  • Campus Tour: Guided tour of the facilities followed by a presentation by Clint Harvey, Head of School, about the programs, the application process, enrolment, fees and much more.

  • Special Guest Presentation

    Design College Australia courses can be completed in either full time or part time modes, plus there are workshops and short courses held throughout the year, which cover a number of creative disciplines, including letterpress, photography and technology. The collage also actively supports its students, by hosting industry evenings, student exhibitions and much more.
