Traditional Japanese dishes with an amazing sake collection
Recently celebrating their first birthday, Japanese restaurant DenDeke in Melbourne's north delivers an authentic Japanese tavern with a retro atmosphere.

Forget Spanish tapas and Middle Eastern mezze, this Izakaya-style dining, with traditional dishes designed to be shared, creates a great experience with family and friends.

A generous bar area with seating options, hosts an extensive range of sake along with beer, wine and delicious cocktails. Why not try the house specialty "sake flight". A sake tasting platter of 3 different styles of sake.

There is an assortment of dishes on an appetising menu, with specialties of Kushi-Age (deep fried skewers) and Kushi-Yaki (charcoal grilled skewers) which are ideal to share. The assorted sashimi is delicately enjoyable and there are also options for groups, with the Star Wars fan selection, "Help Me, Obi-Wan Kenobi". Just like trusting the "Force", put your trust in the helpful staff for suggestions and guidance in food and beverage choices.

Den Deke

With retro imaged Japanese movie posters, the vibe at Den Deke is relaxing, funky, intimate and cosy. This warm and friendly restaurant delivers delicious fresh Japanese cuisine worth going back for.

Kanpai (Cheers)
