Back in 2021, the South Australian Museum's dementia-friendly writing workshop will be held on Tuesday the 27th of July between 9am and 12pm. The workshop is for anyone with dementia and their partners, carers and friends.
You will begin this free activity with a tour of the Wonders from the South Australian Museum exhibition which brings the stories of 165 incredible objects from its vast collection storage to life in commemoration of the museum's 165th birthday. This is then followed by some writing time with professional writer Michele Saint-Yves. A light morning tea will also be provided.
Although free, bookings are still required and can be made online via the museum's Eventbrite website. The workshop will be held at the South Australian Museum located on North Terrace in the city.
