Autumn vegetarian food soul searching event
Entering March, all those rain seems to be a premonition that autumn has come closer. If you are looking for some peace and soul searching after those summer parties, put this down in your social calendar.
A vegetarian bazaar has been organised in town, offering many delightful Indonesian inspired vegetarian dishes. It is a perfect event to sample traditional delicacies seasoned with herbs and spices guilt free. Delightful Vegetarian Festival by AuGuang Maitreya Cultivation Centre, has come back this year again to entertain foodies in Sydney.
In addition, for people like myself who would love to do a bit of soul-searching and peace after a very busy summer, AuGuang Maitreya Cultivation Centre is also a great place to visit. Here is how.
Firstly upon entering the Centre, you will be greeted by a statue of Happy Buddha, whom is also known as Maitreya Buddha. Visitors are welcomed to rub its belly as it has been believed to bring luck and happiness.
When approaching reception, ask for a tour around the praying hall. A member from the Public Relation team will happily guide you and your company to the hall, introduce and answer any questions you or your friends may have about Happy Buddha.
Once entering the praying hall, calm yourself down and let the peace take hold of your heart. Breathe in and out, close your eyes and let the atmosphere swamp through your body. You can take as much quiet time as you like.
When finally ready, you could proceed to the ticketing counter to purchase your coupon and let the fun begins. Here are some of the recurring favourites and of course, many more.
