This deli-cafe is a rare treasure for families mainly because of its location flowing into a spacious and beautiful park, as well as Duke's Green right next door. Our kids had a fantastic play on the swings in the playground and loved climbing all the Paperbark trees before, during and after lunch and they still refused to come home after that.
The food at Deli in the Park is mostly made from scratch, which means it is free from all things junky and unhealthy. Some items on the breakfast menu at Deli In The Park include buttermilk pancakes, Mediterranean stack, free range eggs on toast and a healthy bowl. Breakfast is served until 11.45am during the week and all day on weekends.
The lunch menu at Deli in the Park includes steak sandwich on sourdough, Wagyu beef burger, grilled salmon, heaps of salads, and a homemade veal, mushroom and white wine ravioli. Lunch is served from 11.30am - 2pm. There is also a handy children's food menu to keep little tummies filled.
They serve excellent Vittorio coffee, a range of loose leaf teas (served in cute teapots) as well as milkshakes, fresh juices, frappucinos and smoothies. The front display cabinet is also filled with yummy cakes, brownies, biscuits and slices to enjoy.
