A beautiful dinner, luncheon or afternoon drinks await you at Del Rios Winery in Anakie. We had the pleasure of visiting for Father's Day and it won't be the last time. There's so much to love here, from the vineyard wines, beautiful views, friendly-family run business to the lovely animals. It is a delightful treat and not so far from Geelong or Melbourne.

The environment is lovely and you can choose from the beautiful indoor dining, outdoors on the deck, there is even a kids play area. del Rios is a family owned, vineyard, winery, restaurant, and cellar door operated by Gus and Esther del Rios, together with their 3 sons Andres, Joshua and Marcus. They purchased the property in 1994 and the first vines were planted in 1996, going from strength to strength ever since.

From "del Rios is a family-owned, vineyard, winery, restaurant, and tasting room established in 1996 on the slopes of an extinct volcano, Mt Anakie. We have blended traditional influences with contemporary techniques to develop a vineyard and winery, where the owner and winemaker Gus del Rio, produces a range of low yield, beautifully crafted wines. It is in the restaurant where the family philosophy of great wine, food, and friends comes together in a wonderful setting. Our restaurant uses local and estate-grown produce, offering a blend of traditional Spanish and contemporary cuisine. We have also adopted a paddock to plate approach - breeding our own free-range pasture-fed Black Angus Beef and Texel Friesian Cross Lamb."
