A café worth remembering
Simple pleasures are often the best kind. If you're looking for a relaxed yet delectable café experience, I have just the place for you. Delicious coffee and delightful desserts are exactly what you'll find at Deja Bru Café. This bright and cheery coffee shop serves up a wonderfully refreshing experience every time.

Deja Bru Cafe
Can't remember the last time you had a great coffee? Come to Deja Bru.

I have visited this McDowall based café a few times now and have been delighted with the friendly service, relaxed ambience and delicious food on each occasion. If you live locally it simply is a must, if not it is certainly worth the travel.

On my last visit I indulged in a delicious cup of Elixir coffee ($3.50). If you haven't tried this blend I highly recommend it. The coffee was strong and aromatic complementing the carefully selected desserts we had ordered.

Coffee and Cake
The delicious coffee and divine desserts are a match made in heaven.

The zesty lemon slice ($6.95) was light and fresh with a delicate flavour. In contrast, the chocolate hazelnut baci cake ($7.95) was creamy and decadent without being too rich. Surprisingly, both were gluten free. However, you will never be able to tell as the quality is exceptional.

Furthermore, Deja Bru Café offers the largest range of gluten free treats I have come across lately. An array of both gluten free and non-gluten free cakes, slices, muffins and biscuits are available to tempt every tastebud. The main focus of this café is great coffee and sweet indulgences. And I must say they do it very well.

Cake Display
There are lots of treats to sample from the menu.

However, there are a few other options on the menu if you're looking for something more substantial. Enjoy the muesli and yoghurt ($6.95), gourmet pasta salad ($8.95), healthy wraps ($8.95) or waffles with ice cream and maple syrup ($8.95) to name a few. This summer menu is perfect for a casual dine-in or takeaway experience.

Deja Bru Entrance
Drop by Deja Bru for a delightful treat.

Open from 6am to 4pm during the week and 7am until 1pm and 12pm on Saturday and Sunday respectively, Deja Bru offers a relaxed café atmosphere perfect for the whole family. Additionally, the kids will love sitting at their own special table filled with colouring books. This will give you the opportunity to relax while enjoying something from the menu.

Outside Dining
This relaxed outdoor setting is perfect for an enjoyable bite to eat with family and friends.

If you want a great cup of coffee and a tasty treat without the usual accompanying hustle and bustle I recommend Deja Bru Café. It's perfect for a mid-morning catch-up or spur of the moment pick-me-up. With friendly staff, a great atmosphere and delicious coffee you simply won't forget this café.

Have been here several times (with in laws who have mobility issues) so always so easy to get a park and a close walk for them. The food is always really enjoyable (my better half loves their eggs and bacon) I love their banana bread with ricotta & honey. My mother inlaw loves all their cakes and slices!! Reasonably priced, great coffee and the service is always really friendly. Owners always very accommodating for inlaws with mobility issues (moving tables around etc) - just really good all round. Love this place!
