One of Melbourne's most interesting spots is just a stones throw away from the iconic Flinders Street station. Nestled against Collins Street and Flinders Lane, there is a world of culture original to Melbourne waiting to be discovered.
Belgian Waffles is a little piece of Melbourne that has been kept a secret far too long, along with a few small cafés and places of education. I'm a person who loves learning, so I have been known to saunter down Degraves and check out the schools, but not before I grab myself a chocolate and banana covered waffle and a latte to go.
Degraves has a vintage look, which the interesting people compliment. Individuality is the common theme, but not recommended for the faint at heart. Occasionally the air around Degraves is coloured with the acoustics of interesting buskers. Don't forget to tip; it'll always earn you a smile or a breathless "Thank you!"
