More than just coffee to get through the shopping frenzy
Looking for a quiet place to stop and have coffee and maybe a bite to eat at the Logan Hyperdome? We decided to try Degani Cafe just at the entrance to the marketplace of the Hyperdome (across from Aldi).
This pleasant brightly lit cafe has an exciting menu to choose from. They are open for breakfast, lunch and for dinner on Thursdays. It was lunchtime when we dined here, but we could have chosen from the all-day breakfast menu or the all-day lunch menu.
After making our choices, we settled in with our mocha and chai latte, just a sample of their drinks on offer. Maybe next time we may go for something a little more exotic like a beetroot latte, turmeric latte or a matcha latte. These were advertised on colourful posters around the cafe.
Both meals were tasty and generous in their serving size.
Degani originally started in Melbourne and have over 80 cafes nationwide with only about 4 in Queensland. Each cafe is operated individually with local menu options.
Things to know. Best parking is Entry 6 (near Coles and marketplace). Not table service, order at the cashier. They have a lovely selection of cakes and sweets which are on show at the front display counter to tempt those looking for something to go with their coffee.
Maybe next time we might stop for coffee and cake.
