Looking for a gorgeous camping getaway? Look no further than Deep Creek Conservation Park. This adventure playground is located just under 2 hours from the Adelaide CBD; it features a picturesque drive through the highways of Adelaide leading to your grand destination.

Deep Creek has specific camping locations for patrons, there is an entry fee which you pay when you first arrive which sits at the cost of $11 per night. This excludes any extra fees for how many people you take with you, this allows for a great adventure with a group of friends.

The camping sites are located through some beautiful country dirt roads, on the drive you will be spoilt with a view of some of the best forest areas in close proximity to Adelaide. The wildlife is there to be adored, with frequent kangaroo, wombat and koala sightings, almost every turn allowed for another memorable moment.

Camping sites allow enough room for 2 cars and multiple tents, situated close to one another this allows for multiple families to camp together and be within close proximity. There are toilets provided within short walking distance of the camping sites, as well one of the most amazing views from a cliff overlooking the coast of South Australia. This view was breathtaking, overlooking the almost endless view of the option and this alone justifies a trip out to Deep Creek.

Deep Creek is located within 15 minutes of delamere (Small local town), allowing for easy access to firewood, kindling and fresh bait for fishing off the cliff near your camp site or traveling the extra half hour all the way to Cape Jervis. Traveling to Cape Jervis allows for a great fishing spot with the locals, but also another grand view. Being able to watch the boats leaving for Kangaroo Island from the foot of a lighthouse as tall as an Adelaide city skyscraper is a memory I will not forget any time soon.

Being from Adelaide my entire life I never knew such an adventurous location full of hiking trails, elegant scenic views, exceptional camping facilities and great places to meet new travelers and locals from around the area.

Deep Creek is an unsung hero of South Australia, providing a brilliant location for tourists and Adelaidians alike. Seeing the local fauna of Australia at the foot of your camp site is a sight to behold, making you treasure the beautiful land we live on.

If you are looking for an economical holiday location for some fun camping activities, Deep Creek is definitely one of the top destinations. The short travel distance and inexpensive rates provide you with an adventure you will want to experience all over again.
