Free summer beach activity for all ages
The Dee Why Rockpool is a 50 metre long pool with a dedicated toddlers area at the southern end of the thriving Dee Why Beach with access to toilets, bins, parking and showers.

This is our family's favourite beach for a quick day visit. The 50 metre ocean bath is well maintained by the Warringah Council and has a great playground area, just next to the water at the south end.

The Surf Lifesaving Club flags are usually out on the beach during daylight hours demarcating safe swimming areas and the toddler pool is specially designed for children, with plenty of shallow water for splashing around in!

As Dee Why Beach has easy access to the pool, there are plenty of shady areas and changing spots for little ones. It is also easy to get here by public transport with a convenient bus stop right outside.

So pack your beach towel and a picnic lunch to eat by the beach or,
visit one of the cafes on The Strand right opposite the beach.

Facilities: disabled toilets, showers, change-rooms at the club and open showers on the promenade area. Also, parking is available on the street and there is a paid car park at the back of the Surf Lifesaving Club.

For more information, check out Warringah Council's website.
