Have you had the good fortune to experience Buderim's newest modern Asian restaurant yet?

Rue Bourbon.

Welcoming and character-filled interior
Guests to
Dee Den will be delighted to discover a welcoming and character-filled interior with a well-stocked bar area, local distillers included - perfect for a cocktail or pre-dinner drink; a well-lit and spacious interior dining area as well as an outdoor deck for those who prefer to dine out in the open.

Perfect for cocktails or pre-dinner drinks
The name '
Dee Den' comes from a Thai phrase that loosely translates to '
standing out' or '
the odd one out', which is the inspiration behind this trendy restaurant. The food that Dee Den serves up is a little out-of-the-ordinary, never dull and of course, totally delicious. Guests can look forward to familiar flavours within
Dee Den's cuisine, but there will always be a touch extra that will make you go '
hey, that's something different!

Well-stocked bar area
Our initiation into
Dee Den was with weekend takeaways. I loved that we could pre-order whilst the restaurant was still closed and be notified at 'opening time' that our meals were ready to collect. The on-line ordering system was easy to negotiate and the automated email responses provided reassuring feedback that our meals were on track.

Dee Den's menu is a playful blend of all good things ...
Dee Den's menu promises a playful blend of spices mixed together with a communal sharing of meals among friends and family - they give it a shake up and add a dash of reckless creativity and
voilą, we have an Asian-inspired menu that's unique and something different.

Our takeaway banquet awaits ...
Our choice for lunch was
'Roasted Half Duck', which included '
caramelised mandarin, brussel sprouts and crispy shredded ginger' and my all-time favourite '
Chicken Cashew Nut Stir-Fry' with '
onion, capsicum, shallots and roasted chilli jam' - meals fit for a takeaway banquet!

Served on a plate certainly does it justice
Diners have a choice of small, medium and large-sized meals; gluten-free options; vegetarian and/or vegan options - the variety is seemingly endless. Can't decide what to choose?
