Folks from all over eastern Australia come to take in the sights, sounds, and thrills, helping to keep alive the tradition of one of country Victoria's top picnic race meets.

The six-race program features the prestigious Milestone , but don't head home just yet. After the horsies have sprinted across the finish line, stick around for the legendary Dederang Mile, where speedy contenders of all ages will battle it out for glory on a full lap of the course. And if that's not enough excitement for you, it's followed by the winner-takes-all Tug of War. So, if you fancy a day where you can enjoy the nostalgia of grassroots racing, good food, and plenty of drinks, feel free to bring your mates, family, or coworkers.
