Exchanging gifts when visiting friends and families is valued in Arabic culture. In this exciting workshop, Decorate a Reusable Carry Bag, your child/children will engage in a creative experience and create a beautiful and personalised carry bag to use for presenting gifts to others. Textile Designer Rehana Usman from Studio Rags will assist them throughout the session that will be held on Sunday, 18 June 2023, starting from 1 pm to 2.30 pm at Migration Museum, 82 Kintore Avenue.

This workshop is hosted by the Arabic Language and Culture Association of SA (ALCASA) and the History Trust of SA Migration Museum. It is designed for children 10 to 16 years old. Please book each child separately. Parents or guardians are expected to support their children during the session and be present at this event at all times. However, due to the venue's capacity, the number of children participants is limited to 20. Only one adult parent or guardian will be able to attend from each family.
