in Woolwich, near leafy Hunters Hill, has gorgeous food with fabulous water views and Sydney's iconic Harbour Bridge in the distance.

My partner and I shared a lovely mezze plate which included baby octopus, chorizo, olives, haloumi and sourdough bread.

For the main course, my partner ordered the garfish entree as a main dish. Though his meal was satisfying and the fish very tasty, he said he would have liked chips or salad to go with the fish.

I chose a tender lamb loin on a cauliflower puree with carrot chips and a decorative swirl of balsamic over the food. The lamb was lovely and moist and the puree and chips were a beautiful accompaniment.

To finish our feast, we could not ignore the desserts, all of them enticing I chose the delicious vanilla anglais bavrois with deconstructed apple crumble and cinnamon cream. The apple crumble was very crunchy and tasty.

My partner's fig and golden syrup pudding was sensational and was accompanied with hokey pokey ice cream. Our desserts were a fitting end to a wonderful lunch in the winter sun.

has a large range of wines, cocktails and mocktails plus a variety of coffee and organic teas. It has function rooms which take advantage of the harbour views.

The is an ideal place to go for celebrations or just to catch up with friends.
