is a pub on the fascinating Lonsdale Street in Braddon. Lonsdale Street used to be the "Car yard Capital" of Canberra and slowly it has become known for its trendy food trucks at The Hamlet, edgy cafés and award-winning architecture and restaurants. The street's mechanical origins can still be seen with "Repco" squeezed in between cafes, oil drums outside cafes and a large carwash on one corner.

At the far end of the street is . Although named a pub, it is also a combination of casual café, restaurant and pizza place. Due to its large size and open entry facing out to the street, it feels spacious so diners can enjoy their meal without being crammed in. As well as a spacious interior there are a dozen shaded outside tables where diners can sit and enjoy watching the comings and goings of this busy street.





Lonsdale Street is a popular attraction on weekend mornings with Canberrans coming from all over the capital to meet friends and enjoy breakfast at their favourite café. If you are looking for paleo, cruelty free, vegetarian or a full meaty breakfast - you will find it on this strip.

Due to 's size it is a busy establishment, however there are often free tables to choose from. There are a dozen items to choose from on the Breakfast Menu including croissants with choice of filling ($8.50), bacon and egg roll ($8.50), breakfast burger ($12), French toast ($12), smashed avo ($16), vegie/smoked salmon omelette ($17) and the ' Recovery Breakfast' ($20).

With quick service, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere, it is also frequented by a lot of families. With a few highchairs and plenty of room, is a family friendly place to take your kids for breakfast through to dinner, with "two for one" pizza specials often on the menu (check their Facebook page for current specials).

If you enjoy a beer, there are more than 150 beers, ales and wines to choose from, with local and international beers featured at certain times of the year. Ensure you check out at Oktoberfest when they have a variety of German and European beers to choose from.



Lonsdale Street is only a few minutes' walk from the main Bunda Street that runs through Canberra's CBD. It is worth the extra walk to visit this street with dozens of breakfast places to choose from. Popular eateries for breakfast include Eighty Twenty , Sweet Bones , Elk and Pea , Autolyse and the popular The Lonsdale Street Roasters (see photo below), located opposite pub.

Although is a relaxed eating spot to enjoy catching up with friends or eating out with the family, there are also other attractive cafes on Lonsdale Street to check out and try their unique flavours and food combinations.
