Australia Post has come up with a fantastic way to get lyrical about sharing your experiences during COVID-19; a pandemic that has had an extraordinary impact on families, communities and our way of life. At Australia Post they think it's important to mark this moment in our nation's history, so they've created a national letterbox where from NOW until 18 August 2020 you can write a letter to share your experience; the highs and lows, and moments of joy and learnings from this pandemic that hit us all like a sledgehammer.

Write your letter
Address it and place it in a stamped envelope
Mail your letter at your local PO or any red street posting box

Post your letter to Dear Australia, Locked Bag, Australia 9999.

Your letter could contain a message of hope, a story of community spirit, a description of how this event has changed your life; it could even incorporate a piece of your child's artwork. (Kids, please get your parent or guardian to help!)

Working with National Archives of Australia who have an amazing national archival collection you can still enjoy via their Website, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for collection highlights every day; ELIGIBLE Dear Australia Letters will be kept for future generations. Start recording your impressions of this remarkable time. T&Cs apply.

Not free. Requires a postage stamp to mail the letter. Would have thought they could have waived the postage.
