I'm a student at Deakin and had no idea this was on thank you!

Our experience last time taught us to stay well back from the fireworks. The roped off area near the car park & buildings allows people to come far too close for comfort to the detonation point. I'm talking about little kids in tears (and not just my kid!). Parents also need to be aware that the sound will rebound off the Deakin buildings. I'm sure it would be fine from further back.
