Deadly 60 Live: Pole to Pole

Steve Backshall, known for his hit TV series Deadly 60, is a fearless globetrotter, who goes in search of the world's 'most-deadly' creatures.

Best known for his daring expeditions traipsing across arid land, into caves, through thick jungles, up mountains and deep into the oceans, Steve is an inspiring character, whose passion for wildlife prompts children all over the world to follow his televised adventures.

After the successes of his BBC Earth series, Deadly 60, Steve now tours the world to present Deadly 60 Live, presenting his adventures to a live audience.

The latest installment of Deadly 60 Live, is Pole to Pole, currently touring Australia, and will soon arrive in the heart of Melbourne.

In Deadly 60 Live: Pole to Pole, Steve shares his experiences travelling from the South Pole to the North Pole, and his gripping encounters with deadly creatures from all corners of the globe.

Of course there are no live animals that appear in Deadly 60 Live shows, but you'd be surprised how much Mr Backshall captures the attention of families.

Coupled with televised clips alongside some of the rarer 'behind-the-scenes' footage of Deadly 60, Steve ploughs through his adventures with enthusiasm. Expect the TV star to take you on a journey through his incredible global jaunts, where he has encountered the world's most weird, wonderful, and of course deadly wildlife.

Prepare a list of questions, because Steve will be ready to answer a selection in a Q&A session, giving you an even greater insight into the making of his popular BBC Earth series; Deadly 60.

In a whirlwind tour travelling all over Australia, Steve Backshall arrives in Melbourne for just one day, appearing in 3 shows on Tuesday 24 January 2017; 11:30am, 2:30pm & 5:30pm.
