Internationally acclaimed mindfulness teacher, Dr Sharn Rocco, invites you to join her leading Daylong Mindfulness Retreat on 11 December 2022, 10 am to 4 pm at South Brisbane Sailing Club.

This is a special opportunity to experience the magic of mindfulness and practice skills for reducing stress and finding calm in the midst of chaos.

As the founder of Mindful Works, Sharn designs and facilitates mindfulness-based personal and professional development retreats, workshops and short courses in Australia and internationally.

Sharn brings to her teaching more than two decades of personal practice, retreats and study. As well as studying with some of the great Buddhist masters of our time, she is an experienced teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and has twice been scholar-in-residence for the Garrison Institute New York.

Whether you are completely new to mindfulness practice, a dedicated practitioner or somewhat of a dabbler, a Mindful Works Daylong Retreat is a chance to enjoy a day free from decisions, demands and distractions.

Expertly guided by Sharn, you will experience the pleasure and benefits of a day of mostly silent, guided mindfulness practice and instruction. You will reconnect with your inner calm and wisdom and let go of any feelings of worry, overwhelm and work anxiety.

Given Christmas is two weeks later, this retreat is perfect timing, as you can take time out from your busy schedule and do something for yourself before you're swamped by all the needs of everyone else!

You will leave relaxed, energised and ready to bring your best self to the pressures and preparations of the festive season.
