The 57th Annual Dayboro Show comes to Memorial Showgrounds from the 6th to the 8th of July.
A traditional country show with something of interest for all, there's a great itinirary of both indoor and outdoor activities. Pavillions will display agricultural produce, cooking, fine arts, craft and apiary cookery. For the industrious among us, there are Fruit and Veg, Homebrew and Wine Horticulture displays and workshops as well as needlework, photography and the Secondary Schools Wine Challenge.
Meanwhile the chips will fly with a full ring programme of horse events, woodchop events and a mini-rodeo spectacular.
Outdoor events even extend beyond show jumping on Friday, with a dog show on Saturday and a poultry and DCHC Cutting and Drafting Challenge on Sunday.
Of course, for the kids and the kids at heart there is a sideshow alley full of show bags, candy and fun for all.
There are 2 and 3 day passes available, with the official opening happening on the second day (Saturday 7th) at 1:00pm.
Entry on Friday is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for high school students, $2.00 for primary school and free for children five years and under. On Saturday, adults enter for $10.00, high schoolers and pensioners for $6.00, primary schoolers for $4.00 and free again for children five years and under.
A daily family pass is $25.00 for two adults and two children, a two day pass is $18.00 for adults, $10.00 for high schoolers and pensioners and $6.00 for primary schoolers while a three day pass is $22.00 for adults, $12.00 for high schoolers and pensioners and $8.00 for primary schoolers.
