I write for Weekend Notes and I take photographs, usually sunsets and sunrises. Occasionally I include my photos in my articles. I like to promote Geelong, and activities around Geelong.
Event: -
Come to Queenscliff Station, on Saturday 28th March or Sunday 29th March 2015, for a Day Out With Thomas.

Thomas the Tank Engine will be making a special appearance at the Bellarine Railway during the last weekend in March. Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends Douglas, Henry, Oliver, Sir Topham Hatt, Salty, and the Troublesome Trucks will all be at The Bellarine Railway for the day.

When you purchase a ticket, you can have a 40 minute train ride, Troublesome Truck rides, watch re-enactments with Sir Topham Hatt, join in a Thomas Sing-a-long, enter a colouring competition judged by Sir Topham Hatt, jump on the jumping castle and more.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities for mums and dads, show bags for children, and other activities and displays. There will also be Thomas and Friends merchandise for sale, as well as Bellarine Railway souvenirs.

The Day Out With Thomas is held at the Queenscliff Station, 20 Symonds Street (at the bottom of Hesse Street). There is free parking available at the station and in nearby streets.

Purchase individual tickets or purchase a family ticket for $85.00. More information and ticket prices here: You can pre-book tickets (recommended to avoid disappointment) or puchase tickets at the gate on the day. Hold on to your ticket - you will need to carry tickets at all times, to gain entry into activities.

I hope that everybody enjoys catching up with Thomas and Friends, has a train ride, and a great day. Bring your own lunch or snacks and drinks or head into Queenscliff for lunch. Remember your sun hats and sun screen, and remember to slip, slop, slap.

Please note: the availability of characters and activities offered could vary between events.
