April is a big month at The Bellarine Railway with Thomas' Birthday Celebration (12 & 13 April) + an Easter special on Easter long weekend (18 to 20 April).

Enjoy a great line-up of family-friendly activities for all to enjoy! From scenic train trips to a special visit from the Easter Bunny and a chocolate treat for children, there is something for everyone!

Day Out With Thomas

The popular Day Out With Thomas returns these school holidays! Tickets are now on sale for this popular school holiday attraction presented by The Bellarine Railway. Held at Queenscliff Station on 12 and 13 April from 9:00 AM daily. Suitable for all ages, this is an opportunity to spend a fun-filled family day featuring short rides with Thomas and the Troublesome Trucks, and a scenic trip with Douglas on board his train along Swan Bay. Look forward to plenty of party fun, including mini engine rides, magical entertainment, party-themed art activities, and a 'party pack' for each child to take home. Reserve your seats here.

Bellarine Railway Raising Funds for The Good Friday Appeal

The Bellarine Railway is delighted to once again support The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal with a day of scenic train trips on Good Friday 18 April 2025. All proceeds from ticket sales on the day will be donated to the Appeal, helping to provide vital care and support to children and families in need.

Passengers can enjoy a 45-minute return journey from Queenscliff Station to Lakers Siding, with trips departing hourly from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Here’s how you can help:

Bring your family and friends for a day of fun and giving back on 18 April 2025.

Book a scenic train trip, with departures from Queenscliff every hour between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Reserve your seats here.

On the day, collect your souvenir tickets from Queenscliff Station at 20 Symonds Street, Queenscliff VIC.

More Easter Fun All Weekend

The Easter celebrations continue throughout the weekend!

On Saturday 19 April and Sunday 20 April, families can hop aboard our Easter Bunny Specials. Each 60-minute trip includes a special visit from the Easter Bunny at Lakers Siding, where children will receive a chocolate treat and have the opportunity to take photos with the Bunny. These trips feature an extended stop at Lakers Siding for patrons to meet the Easter Bunny. Reserve your seats here.

Then, on Easter Monday 21 April, relax on a scenic journey along Swan Bay aboard our Swan Bay Express. These 45-minute return trips to Lakers Siding provide a peaceful and picturesque experience for all ages. Reserve your seats here.
