Three couples, too many ways to be unfaithful
If you're a fan of great Australian theatre then this is a show you certainly want to pen into the diary.
Written by Australia's most produced playwright Joanna Murray Smith, renowned for her razor sharp humour and wit, Day One, A Hotel, Evening is a story of love, seduction, envy, desire and revenge.
For friends Sam and Tom and their wives Madeleine and Stella, life is privileged, life is middle class, life is, well, a little bit boring. Until of course, they meet Ray and Rose when life takes a turn where erotic thrill seeking births catastrophe and it all begins on day one, in a hotel, one evening.
The result is a plot entangled by a web woven of romantic ties and laugh yourself silly comedy, brought to you (and me) by Black Swan State Theatre Company.
Showing at the Heath Ledger Theatre, State Theatre Centre of WA from 15-30 June 2013. Tickets are available from Ticketek.
Patrons are advised this show contains coarse language, adult themes, gunshot effects and smoking of herbal cigarettes on stage.
