I am a world traveller & a mom of two, (8 & 6). I love to meet people, and am fascinated that there are 7 billion stories out there to be explored. I think Melbourne is the most happening city to live in with all the fun activities around town.
Hampton Park Celebrates Australia Day
Australia Day will be celebrated with a focus on community and family in Hampton Park "Day of Nations" on 26 January, starting at 9am to noon (3 hours) at Arthur Wren Hall.
This free event will kick off with an Aussie breakfast for all. Those who wish to stay back and enjoy the festivities can look forward to live entertainment. For children, there will be a display of farm animals where they can pet the animals and parents can take lots of photos. Face-painting and jumping castles, along with community group displays will also be part of the day events. The Ambassador for the day is Dr Nouria Salehi OAM, a highly respected nuclear physicist and biophysicist, who will be speaking about what it means to be Australian.
