Play golf to help critically injured children in Brisbane
The Day of Difference Foundation invites you to bring a team to its 'Charity Golf Day', raising funds for critically injured children and their families on Monday 26th May at the beautiful Indooroopilly Golf Course.
Sponsored by Datacom, this important day will help raise funds for the 'Day of Difference Foundation' through sponsorship and players. The mission of the Day of Difference Foundation is to reduce the incidence and impact of children's critical injury in Australia.
There are more than 6000 children hospitalised with a critical injury each year, 1000 children per week hospitalised after an accident; more than twice the number of those hospitalised with cancer, asthma and diabetes combined. Despite these staggering statistics, there is little or no research internationally working towards improving outcomes for these children and their families. You can find out about the Day of Difference Foundation's work on the website.
To help reduce the impact of children's critical injury on the families, including anxiety, depression, addictions and relationship breakdowns, the Day of Difference needs your support. Sponsorship packages for this day of golf range from $1500 to $3500 with great benefits and opportunities to strengthen business relationships. You can even bring a team of four for only $780!
All are welcome to come along and enjoy a full and interesting day of golf on one of Brisbane's most beautiful golf courses.
You'll have the unique opportunity to learn from the pros, play the modified Ambrose format (a satisfying game for beginners and serious golfers alike) and have a great day with friends and colleagues while raising funds for a vital cause.
Breakfast, lunch, refreshments and a master class with a professional golfer are all provided, and during lunch you'll hear from special guest speaker, Dave Spindler, formerly the world's number one amateur golfer, caddy to the stars and now integral support for one of Australia's professional cycling teams.
