Start your day in an uplifting way with free music series
Start your day in a soothing, soulful way with this free outdoor series of Indian classical music from local and international musicians. A 'raga' is the melodic framework for improvisation and composition. It is based on a scale with a given set of notes, a typical order in which they appear in melodies, and characteristic musical motifs. The musician creates a unique mood or atmosphere by emphasising certain degrees of the scale, and by going from note to note in ways characteristic to the raga.

Complimentary chai tea will be available as well as yoga mats for public use. In the event of wet weather, the performance will still take place but will be moved into the foyer.

Image shows Hari Sivanesen, who will perform on 14th February.
