If you are a fan of walking, whether it's for the exercise, the opportunity to get out and about or just for the fun of it, there are lots of great walking trails around the Perth suburbs. One of the nicest trails is The , well known for its picturesque surroundings, this trail is perfect for a brisk walk or a leisurely stroll. This walk is a beautiful two kilometre loop walk along the coastal ridge between the coast and Manning Park, a great walk to do as a family or with some friends.



The , in Hamilton Hill, forms part of the Beeliar Regional Park and can be accessed from the back of the Azelia Ley Homestead Museum . This popular walking trail has been a favourite track, used by locals and visitors for many years.

This walking trail contains many places of interest and lookout points where you can get a spectacular view of Fremantle, the Indian Ocean and the coastline down towards Rockingham. The trail consists mainly of rough tracks and there are some fairly steep areas, but it's well worth the effort for the view.

The could take you anywhere from thirty minutes to two hours to complete but there is no time limit so you can take as long as you want. Take it at your own pace, in your own time.

The cooler weather makes this a great time to get out and about but remember to take some water, sunscreen, a hat, and other essentials with you. Take care to lookout for wildlife, including snakes, magpies and insects, on your walk.
