It's a fine day and you want to relax in a picturesque setting. So where to go? Well, why not pay a visit to ?

Located within the Garigal National Park, this is a popular picnic area, especially during weekends and holidays.

is well known by boaters, who use the ramp to access the scenic waters of Middle Harbour. Whether you want to spend your day fishing, or float your troubles away, Davo will do the job nicely.

Bushwalking is another way to pass the time. The dense vegetation above the water contains a series of tracks that will certainly have you running up a sweat. It's just as well, then, that you have the option of enjoying a refreshing dip afterwards.

is only accessible by car, from 6am to 6.30pm (8pm during daylight savings). There's a flat rate of $7 for parking – and because it's done by machine, it's your responsibility to make sure you bring the right coins. On the plus side, the park does have toilet facilities.

Here are three of the walks that can be done:

Walk 1
Walk 2
Walk 3

These three photos give an idea of the scenery:

Roseville Bridge
Early morning mist
Dragon boat racing
