In full disclosure, I've never been the type to find comedy funny, it was never something I got, and even my Dad said a good joke was wasted on me. So I went into this show unsure of whether I would find Strassman funny or if it would go down like a lead balloon.
Thankfully, I was able to find the performance funny and at times witty. Although, at times I was simply fascinated by Strassman's talent as a ventriloquist and amount of puppets he was using. In this show, Strassman is joined by five friends - the naughty Chuck Wood, the adorable Ted E Bare, Kevin the Alien, the cantankerous Grandpa Fred, and the determined Sid Beaverman as Strassman battles to get Ted E Bare and Chuck off their phones.
Strassman and his group of strange but funny friends kept me entertained and the final act intrigued me and spoke to my inner child thanks to some marvellous, visual trickery. Highly recommended!
