The cosy and packed "Le Cascadeur" was the setting for Dave Thornton 's new show "Tall and Pointy".

This Melbourne meterosexual tells it like it is; or at least from the way he sees it. His show about "being a dude" is full of amusing anecdotes taken from his experiences including his work on radio station SAFM, where he has to talk about and listen to "women's issues". This has given him valuable insights into the female mind, together with that night he spent with a roomful of ladies at a Chippendales show …

Dave's light hearted banter and (slightly dubious) observations on life cover diverse areas such as sex, religion, auctions, relationships and share housing, to name a few. He also likes to involve the audience, getting their opinions and even inviting someone up on stage - a thoroughly enjoyable hour of stand-up.

Get in quick - his show at the Garden of Unearthly Delights ends on Sunday March 3rd! You can purchase tickets online at Thornton&venue=&date_from=&date_to=&genre=&type=&go=Search FringeTix , from the booth in Rundle Mall or at the entry.
