Located at the quieter end of Hindley Street, is billed as a wood oven restaurant and cocktail lounge although the range of dishes features both pub-style food and Italian cuisine. Though our dishes took a while to arrive, the wait for them was worth it.

Great for those who want something a bit different, the pepperoni and peri-peri sauce featured in the Pepperoni Chicken Parmigiana gave the dish a delectable spicy flavour. The meat of the schnitzel was succulent and was set off nicely by the crisp crumb coating. Served with the dish were a small salad and chips that had the right amount of seasoning.



The penne pasta we chose for the Con Pollo Pasta was cooked al dente and complemented well by the juicy chunks of chicken. Roasted capsicum added a touch of sweetness, with the rose sauce tying everything together. A notable part of the dish is the inclusion of pesto basil for an extra element of flavour.



Their Meat Lovers Pizza lived up to its name with a generous amount of ham, salami and bacon to give a wonderful meaty texture. The base was not too thick and had the characteristic toast flavour from being cooked in a wood fired oven. Those that want to add a smoky flavour can have barbeque sauce added to the pizza.



While we would have liked a bit more seafood in the Seafood Pizza, the pizza still had a delightful fresh taste. Compared to the Meat Lovers Pizza, the taste of the pizza sauce was more pronounced. For a bit of an extra price, anchovies can be added to the pizza to introduce a salty flavour.



Customers that visit from 10pm have the pleasure of listening to live music while enjoying their meals. Its location is great for those desiring yummy food over a few drinks in a quieter setting compared to the main part of Hindley Street.
