Want to actively interact with your baby? Or increase bonding between parents and your kids? Darwin Libraries is an answer. There are four libraries in the City of Darwin; Casuarina Library, City Library, Karama Library and Nightcliff Library.

Choose from a range of activities, including Babes 'n 'Book, Babes' n' Rhymes, Story Time, Lego Club, Code Club and many more. Plus there's a variety of toys and books for kids also available here.

It's never too early to start reading to your baby. Babes 'n' Books will reacquaint parents with nursery rhymes and early childhood songs as well as showcase great books for babies. This is for children ages 3 to 12 months, the program runs from February to November in Casuarina Library (Wed 1.00 PM) and City Library (Mon 11.00 AM)

Clap and move to Babes 'n' Rhymes sessions. We'll explore rhymes, songs and finger play. Interact with your baby to nurture their pre-literacy, language and social skills. For children ages 3 to 24 months. February to November, in Karama Library (Wed 10.00 am).

Story Time

It's will stimulate young minds and provide an environment for discovering the pleasures of reading and learning. For children aged 1 to 5 years and their grownups.

This is in Casuarina (Mon 10.00 AM, Wed 10.00 AM), City (Wed 10.00 AM, Sat 10.00 AM), Karama (Tues 10.00 AM, Thurs 10.00 AM) and Nightcliff ( Tues 10.00 AM-Thurs 10.00 AM)

Story Time starts at 10.00 AM. Arrive early so you and your child have time to settle in.
