Get lost in Queensland's Lost World Valley
If you love spending a Sunday morning browsing through markets, then you must not miss the Darlington Community Markets, held on the banks of the Albert River in the picturesque Lost World Valley around 15 minutes south of Beaudesert (1.5 hours south of Brisbane).
The Darlington Community Markets are only held twice a year, so it's worth the extra effort to be sure that you do not miss the opportunity to visit the selection of handmade, homemade, vintage, upcycled, home grown and organic stalls that have a focus on quality.
You can spend the day browsing stalls, watching the kids enjoy the free entertainment and activities or just chill out in the Vintage Cafe with a homemade cake or slice, gourmet lunch or freshly brewed coffee.
The Lost World Valley offers a wide range of accommodation and recreation activities. The Darlington Community Markets offer a perfect reason to have a short break in a beautiful part of Queensland. You can book into one of the many accommodation options available in the area; from a family farm stay to a luxury B&B, you're sure to find something to your liking. For more information on accommodation options or directions visit the Lost World Valley website (accommodation and area information).
