Walking past the amazing Darling Quarter Playground, I stopped to watch the kids laughing and squealing with joy. I reminisced and wished.

Oh what the heck, why can't we adults still enjoy play and fun!

Thank goodness I was wearing my flat shoes. I dropped my bag and began my climb on the 83 square metres of climbing rope net, The Octanet. No I didn't have a child with me to 'pretend' I was only climbing for their safety sake. It was just me, being a Big Kid.

It was so much fun, I climbed, wove my legs around the net and hung upside down, although I did get a little head spin, maybe I was just out of practice! I didn't care, I just wanted to feel the joy of nurturing my inner child.

Satisfied, I climbed down and continued to explore and play the other 15 amazing fun activities in this incredible playground.

It felt so good and I didn't care what people may have thought, all that mattered was my joy being a Big Kid for the day!
