One of the biggest Christmas festivals is set to return to Darling Harbour this year from the 30th of November. And it's bound to get many into the Christmas spirit.

There are so many things to see this year at Santa Fest; Daredevil stunts on the water, a santa fun run, fireworks, carols, Polish cuisine and folk performances, street performers, a giant lit Christmas tree, and of course Santa.

You will see giant inflatable santas, dragon-boating santas, jumping santas, Santas on jet skis, Santas on yachts, Santas on stilts, Santas on Buildings. . . Santas everywhere you look!

Santa Fest Water Spectacular

Celebrations will commence on the 30th of November with an array of activities and shows;

Pre-Show Festivities- From 7:30pm, street performers will entertain passers-by. A Children's choir will be carolling christmas tunes. And see the daredevil stunts of Sky Ski Santa on the waters of the harbour.

Main Show Festivities- In Cockle Bay, 21 eight metre tall inflatable Santas will be placed around the harbour foreshore. See the official lighting of the Christmas Tree of Light & Laughter near the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre. See a pyrotechnic show and play witness to a foot parade of Santas and other colourful Christmas characters as they march to a festive soundtrack.



Santa Fun-Run

On the 1st of December at 9am, thousands of Santas will swap their boots for running shoes when they participate in the 5 kilometre Variety Santa Fun Run. The course begins from Palm Grove and finishes near the steps of the Sydney Opera House.

The fun run will be held with the hope of raising money for sick, disadvantaged, and special needs children.

The Polish Christmas Community Festival

Come and get a slice of culture by paying a visit to traditional Polish food market stalls and come watch free Folk dance performances. It's a one day festival that will be held on the 1st of December from 11am- 6pm in Tumbalong Park.



Carols by the Christmas Tree of Light and Laughter

Every evening from the 5th- 22nd of December (On Thursdays-Sundays only), some of Sydney's finest a capella groups will sing Christmas carols: by the Christmas Tree of Light & Laughter from 7-9pm. Carols will be sung at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre Forecourt. A children's choir will carol also on Christmas Eve to help reign in Christmas day.

Harbourside Christmas Fireworks

A firework display can be seen every Saturday night between the 7th- 21st of December from 9pm at Harbourside. It will offer just a preview into the firework extravaganza that people can also see on Christmas Eve to welcome in Christmas. A magical kaleidoscope of colours will fly all over Darling Harbour.
