Fun mostly free things for the kids leading upto Christmas
It's starting to feel a lot like Christmas with various Christmas trees sparkling at various locations around the CBD and various shopping centres. As the festive season begins, Darling Harbour transforms into Santa world with a sea of red and white jolly men which will have the kids spinning around to spot each one.
Watch out for the Santas having a jolly time on the water during the Santa Fest Water Spectacular in late November. With one whole month of magic leading up to Christmas, see what's in store.

With a festive line up of free Santa movies at the Village Green Darling Harbour. Grab a picnic blanket and snuggle up with the kidlets and watch a movie under the stars.

Paddle Boat Rides
Join in the spirit of Santa Fest with a paddle boat rides at Darling Harbour from November 29. Cost: $20 for 25 minutes (two adults and two children) Sat – Sun, 29–30 Nov, 6–7, 13–14, 20–21 and 24 Dec, 10am to 8pm Wed – Fri, 3–5, 10–12, 17–19 Dec, 5pm to 8pm

Fireworks It wouldn't be Christmas without Christmas Fireworks played to a festive soundtrack every Saturday from 9pm plus a special display on Christmas Eve.

Santa Fun Run The Annual Variety Santa Fun Run will be a sight for eyes with the area swarming with Santas raising funds for the sick and disadvantaged kids. Why not dress up and register to join in?
Singing time Christmas means carols and good Christmas cheer. Palm Grove will be serving it up with gypsy jazz and mixing it up for a fun twist, so catch the jolly carollers and musicians on Thursdays and Sundays from 7pm-9pm.
