Darkness to Light 's collection of large format photographs will bare itself to the viewer to take a look at personal baggage that accompanies each of us from the cradle to the grave. It also suggests the opportunity for salvation through images of fire, like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Images titled Strength doesn't make you immune, has you consider that though we may seem physically strong on the outside, on the inside, we could be breaking.

The exhibition is housed at Northbridge Piazza and Super Screen, corner James and Lake streets, Northbridge, and runs from 24 August to 2 September 2018 from 10am to 4pm each day. Opening Nigh t on Saturday 25 August 2018 from 6.30pm to 10pm and Closing Night on Saturday 1 Sep 2018 from 6.30pm to 10pm requires you to book your free tickets via the Eventbrite links in the event pages.


Tickets are limited due to regulatory requirements. For this reason, if you're unable to attend, do let them know via the event pages, so others may have your tickets. Children are welcome, however, please note, there is partial nudity in many of the artwork, which symbolises innocence and freedom from outside influences.

Please note that there are a series of other events throughout the exhibition, eg. an expectation of a Sunday session performance on 26 Aug from 4pm to 8pm, but it's to be confirmed; and it's best to stay in touch via the said event pages and the Facebook page , for updates and to follow the conversation. Champagne and an assortment of themed canapes will be served during Opening and Closing Nights. All images are for sale.
