About The Dark Side of the Moon Album
Who is Pink Floyd and why create a show around this album? Pink Floyd formed in London in 1965 with experimental, psychedelic influences.

The band's album, The Dark Side of the Moon is considered by some to be one of the best of all time. Released in 1973 through Capitol Records and recorded at Abbey Road Studios, it was the band's eighth studio album.

Band member Roger Waters described the album, which features songs including Money, Eclipse, and Us and Them, as "a simple battle between darkness and light with outer space as a backdrop."

The Brisbane Planetarium Show will pay homage to the songs of the album with a visual theatrical mix. The experience runs for a limited season until 27 March 2024. While there has been a high demand for the show, if you are lucky enough to score a ticket the prices are Adult $16, and Concession $12. Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
