Hear amazing bands at this fabulous show
The Darebin Music Feast will be on 20th and 21st October 2019. It is going to be something that should not be missed as there are going to be 15 acts, three stages, free entry, and for all ages!
It will be held at the Bar 303, 303 High St, Northcote, and the car park will be at Little Eastment Street Car Park, Hawthorn Road, Northcote.
The singers/entertainers for this event will be as follows:
Alice Skye first caught national attention back in 2015 with her debut single You Are The Mountains. Alice recorded at studios in Alice Springs as one of 8 winners of the Alukura Songwriting Competition. In 2015 Alice was chosen as a finalist in the Triple J Unearthed NIMA competition and one of the 5 new Indigenous artists you need to hear. She also received a record deal at this time.
Cool Sounds is from Melbourne and are a guitar pop band led by Dainis Lacey. The band have released 2 full-length LPs.
Ribeiro's 2012 debut album My Little River was an award-winning folk-country classic and then she also brought out a second album which was an indie-noir masterpiece. Her third album which was released this year.
Kee'ahn is a new talent who has become very popular in the Townsville music arena. She's done very well as a fantastic busker in the town. This is mainly as she has a fantastic voice, and the only competitor to this is her competence in the acoustic guitar.
She also has a very impressive musical talent in theatre which she uses when she is not performing music.
The Clotheslines are a Melbourne based duo band and they sing about drugs, sex and rock and roll.
THE GOON SAX
Louis Forster is from the excellent Australian indie-pop band the Goon Sax and he started writing songs when he was seven years old! They are from Brisbane, are a band of three people and they make cute, humble music with a post-punk twist.
