A good fish and chips is hard to find these days, sure you can get an "okay" fish and chips or even a decent one out there, but if you're sick of settling for these inferior meals then you need to try the best fish and chips in Sydney. There I said it, it's THE BEST. You'll be hard pressed trying to find a person who's tried Danny's and not loved the food.
Although finding a car park on a sunny day might take you a little while, it is 100 per cent worth it. Located in beautiful La Perouse right across the road from the picturesque beach it is the best place for a relaxing meal with the family after a day at the beach.
Danny's has friendly staff who are always willing to help and plenty of regulars who know the menu inside out.
Danny's Fish and Chips
The menu is a seafood lover's dream. The fish chips and salad will set you back around $10 while the seafood platter for two is only $23.90. You'll also find delicious and fresh natural oysters for $12 per half dozen. Now if you're not that into seafood (you're crazy), Danny's has recently expanded their menu to offer pizzas and pastas a medium pizza is only $12 while a large is $15. It's also great because if you're in a rush you can take-away or even have the food delivered!
Ocean Foods in Drummoyne wins my vote. It claims to be the home of "The Best Fish n Chips in the Universe!", and it actually lives up to that. Plus, it's won the award for most "Outstanding Seafood Outlet" fifteen years in a row, as well as the "Champion of Champions of Fast Food Takewaway". It's fresh, clean and delicious. The only downside is that it's usually packed to the rafters, but such epic food is totally worth the wait.
