A boy, a toy box and a dilemma
Children's literature comes to life when Richard Tulloch's book, Danny in the Toybox, is performed at the Marian Street Theatre for Young People. Running now untill the 13th July, this is one treat the whole family can enjoy, and will be a wonderful school holiday event for the family to look forward to.

In this stage adaptation of Tulloch's book, Danny is a young boy with big plans for his Grandmother's birthday. Everything goes awry when he forgets about it and feels so horrible that he hides out in his toy box. As his family coax him out of hiding, the story demonstrates the importance of family and also convinces us that magic does exist.

Directed by Sher Kearney and Margie McCrae, with music and songs by Catherine Martin, Danny and the Toybox also features a cast of local performers.

Tickets are $18 for children, $22 for adults and $68 for a family of four. You can even organize this as a birthday party treat for your child (available after the Saturday 1pm shows).

To book your tickets, call 1300 306 776 or visit this website (booking fees apply). For more information contact the Marian Street Theatre for Young People.
