I have been visiting the market for many years and I love the fact that people are there offloading their secondhand goods at dirt cheap prices. I have purchased many items from here such as soft toys, makeup, books, DVDs and clothes. I love shifting through the boxes of people's goods and grabbing a bargain!
At the market, you will find tons of stalls lined up. Everyone there is generally pretty friendly and most people just sell their stuff cheap so they don't have to take it back home. It's best to go with a purse full of small change to make it easier for the stall holders.
There are resting spots at the market including a cafe (Lunar Cafe) that sells your usual hot food and cold drinks. There are restrooms available and a small children's playground. It does make for a fun morning out with the family if you are in the mood to buy some secondhand goods.
I like how at this market they have a tester spot with power points where you can test any electrical items you have purchased. This is handy because if something doesn't work you can bring it back to the stallholders.
On your way out, make sure to grab some delicious fresh breadsticks, eggs and fruit - these are sold at a low price which is great and it benefits the sellers too. I think the eggs sold here are very delicious and they last a long while too.
Overall, I think this trash and treasure market is fantastic and I like to visit every few months to see what goodies I can find.
