I love markets, and Dandenong Market is one of my favourites because it is indoors, has lots of stalls, friendly people and it is located in a beautiful area and is very colourful.
Dandenong market has stalls for books, clothes, rugs, shoes, children stickers and toys, cards, phone covers and accessories, CDs, electronics, games and more.
I like shopping at Dandenong Market because the people running the stalls are really friendly and they are happy to bargain down with you. My boys favourite stalls are the toys and the horror movie doll collection stall.
If you are hungry, there are lots of places to grab a bite to eat including muffins, doughnuts, hot chips, nuggets, sausage rolls, hot dogs, Afghan food, Indian food and more.
There is a fresh produce area where you can buy your fruit and meat for a low price. It is on the other side of the market, past the stalls.
There is no junk and second-hand stuff at Dandenong Market, it is all new stuff. I love roaming the stalls and seeing what they have to offer. The stalls are always in the same spot, so if you come back in a month's time, the stall will be right where you remembered it.
My favourite part about Dandy Market is that there is no entry fee. You can just walk in, have a stroll around or go to every stall and buy something.
My boys enjoy Dandenong Market, however they always assume they are going to get something as soon as we hit the toy table.
