The Eid Al Adha Festival is an important celebration on the Islamic calendar. The date is marked on the lunar calendar and as so moves around on the calendar each year. This year in November, Dandenong will host a "Edi Al Adha" celebration, which according the website "is a community gathering for the Australian Muslim and non Muslim communities". There will be rides for both young and old, market stalls, live animal farm and face painting.
There will also be a Quran recitation competition & Congregational prayers for those who wish to participate.

My community centre just had an Eid festival last week, but it appears to be taking place on different dates. Do you know the official day of the holiday, or is is one that last several days - that would make more sense.
