Gorgeous homewares and gifts for the ones you love
I had been meaning to get down to Dandelyon Gifts for years but it just seemed that every time I was close by, I missed my window of opportunity as I was in a rush or it was already closed. I made a special trip there the other day to see what it was all about and I'm glad I did.
Inside this little Aladdin's Cave is a riot of colour and beautiful homewares and gifts. Stepping under the floral arch (which you can rent out for parties) you will find every single inch of the store has been utilised to showcase lamps, clocks, vases, candles, incense and so many other beautiful things. I found beautiful hanging glass globes to plant terrariums in a variety of sizes which I will definitely be back to claim.
Make a booking with a psychic or healer in the store with options of Tarot, Astrology and Oracle Card readings which will help you restore balance and well-being in your life. The readings hope to assist people to overcome challenges in their lives and spiritual and emotional healing.
Owners, Julie and Greg are experts on gift-giving and believe strongly in giving from the heart. They feel that the beautiful items on offer are a reflection of heartfelt giving for family and loved ones and hope that a little of their philosophy helps in locating the perfect thing in store. They offer great gift advice and will work to match the right item with it's intended recipient.
The store focuses on sustainability by utilising recycling, efficient lighting and renewable energy, therefore, enabling them to keep our carbon footprint low. They also love to offer an online service for those who aren't able to get out to the store or prefer to shop from the comfort of their own home.
Dandelyon is a gorgeous little store and well worth investigating. As I live 45km's away and a person who loves seeking out ''Gems'', I couldn't find a rarer gem than this place.
Not only do they stock quality items, but the owners are indeed gems and I am more than happy to by-pass the 1000's of stores to get to this one.
You can spend $2 here and leave feeling like your worth a million.
