Join Brisbane for 2013's Dance Week at Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts. Boasting the daring and diversity and sensational depth of their dance scene, the Judith Wright Centre will showcase Brisbane's best and brightest movers and shakers from 30 April to 04 May 2013. Nightly programs include Dance. Indie Dance, Big Dance Night Out, and Stay Up Later. It's going to be an epic week so book your tickets now

Dance. Indie Dance (Tuesday 30 April - Thursday 2 May, 7:30pm)

You will be whisked away with sublime movement and energy. This is an independent contemporary showcase which displays a series of short works featuring local choreographers and collectives. These modern works are cutting edge, passionate and daring. With new programs every night, you're bound to come back for more. This program runs for 60 minutes with no interval. All tickets are $15.

Big Dance Night Out (Friday 3 May, 7:30pm)

Were you in the sell-out crowd at Dance Industry Night 2012? Then come and see this new showcase.

Did you miss out on Dance Industry Night 2012? Not to worry, because it's back.

You will see the best dance from the biggest and best crews, ensembles and troops from Brisbane's professional dance studios. During this epic night, you will not only see the phenomenal extra special tap, street and hip-hop dancers, but also Latin and Bollywood dancers shaking about. What could be better than Brisbane's dance crowd sharing its favourite acts with each other? Line up includes Penny Mullen, SARI Bollywood Dance, Red Hot Rhythm, Dance Central and a sneak peak of our June production Sal& #333 ;n created by Timothy Brown. This program runs for 90 minutes including interval. Tickets are $27 (full) and $22 (concession).

[BREAK] Stay Up Later (Saturday 4 May, 7:30pm)

If you've enjoyed Dance Industry Night, then don't miss out on this dance school's showcase featuring our future stars. Brisbane's dance schools will showcase their blockbuster tunes, fabulous classics as well as a few surprises on their own special night at the Judith Wright Centre. The students of full time professional dance courses in Brisbane are making a splash in 2013 so don't miss out on this amazing night. Schools including Queensland Dance School of Excellence, Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts' hip hop crew, Young Dancers Company of Central Queensland and Queensland University of Technology (choreographed by Lisa Wilson) have come together to bring you a magnificent show so come and join us. This program runs for 90 minutes including interval. Tickets are $27 (full) and $22 (concession).
