With a zest all things foody, musical and artistic, I'm adventuring out into the world of online freelancing. My goal: to eat and write my way around every cool local café. Enjoy my reviews and please leave your feed back! Mm, speaking of a feed...
Come and drink up Swedish artist Dan Wolsner's delicious jazz chords and harmonies this Friday at JazzCat Restaurant in Paddington (indulge a glass of red too).
Dan touched down on our shores only one year ago and is already making a name for himself in the Brisbane live music scene. He's funky, cool, has loads of positive energy, and has magical piano hands, memorable tunes and a rich voice that accompanies his keys like a pinot noir with a fine Brie. I can't help myself, sorry - jazz just makes me think of such scandalous condiments.
Speaking of sinful delights, I mentioned that Mr Wolsner will be performing his next jazz solo gig at super trendy JazzCat in Paddington. With it's vintage feel, artistic decor, romantic mood lighting and glitzy grand piano centrepiece, not to mention the ah-mah-zing finger food, it makes for a really special night out.
