Dal Zotto is one of the best known King Valley wineries. They produce a number of wines made from Italian grape varieties, Sangiovese, Barbera and of course Prosecco. As the owner's birthplace is Valdobbiadene, the home of Italian Prosecco, the Dal Zotto Prosecco is the first to be made in Australia in the Italian tradition. At the winery traditional trattoria fare is served, simple antipasto combinations to delicious gnocchi dishes and handmade pasta. The family matriarch 'Nonna Elena' is still very much involved in the family business and works tirelessly in the property's garden to produce the freshest ingredients for the kitchen.
But if you can't get to the King Valley in the near future Dal Zotto are giving you the chance to sample their wines and eat some food inspired by their wines food in Melbourne at theDal Zotto Wine Lunch at The Barre. This will be a match made in heaven between winemaker Michael del Zotto working together with The Barre Senior Chef de Partie, Cecilia Salvante. And what they will prepare for you is a true Sunday Feast of four courses with matching wines.
This is what can expect on Sunday 25th November 2018 and all for the very reasonable price of $85 per person (Melbourne Arts Center members $75).
